Balance, contrast or list phrases. Like a weak “.”

Extra info, like colon, breaking off in a sentence

What is inversion
Normally subject comes first. But with inversion, it is inverted.
Places emphasis on a word & delays the subject
Repetition
Repeating of certain words/sentence patterns
Climax/ anti-climax
Climax often creates through a list. Ascending order with the most important kept to the end.
Anti-climax - Builds then is suddenly relaxed
Antithesis
Balancing of opposites to create contrast.
E.g a pilot in WW1 said:
“Those I fight I do not hate
Those I guard I do not love.”
