What rights are constitutionally protected?

A

Section 5l(xxix), Commonwealth Parliament has the power to enact laws that acquire property (must compensate)
Section 80, right for a fair trial (commonwealth indictable offences must be tried before a jury)
Section 116, freedom of religion
Section 117, prevents discrimination based on the State in which you reside
Section 75(v) - Gives the high court original jurisdiction to hear matters arising under administrative actions right to review of administrative provisions
Section 7 and 24, members of parliament are chosen through an election (IMPLIED)
