control of your own drive and impulse (more internal, not eating a whole cake)

The ability to avoid visual and auditory distractions to complete a task
Thought process
Ability to apply reason and problem solve, learn from mistakes. Retention, memory, learning, and logical thought
Synthetic integrative functioning
Ability to meet needs both acceptable to society and the environment (not yelling at teacher to repeat something)
Mastery/competence
Successful completion, results in client self-confidence
Sense of self
self-concept, body image, and self-esteem. We want people to maintain a positive relationship with other people and understand their own capabilities and realistic expectations
Object relations
use objects to meet needs in a socially acceptable manner
