Note that this differs slightly from ageing block and in the delirium notes which is meant to be exactly the same situation

Basically if ageing and the patient has delirium go with ageing notes, but if not go with this

The main management of psychosis and schizophrenia is covered in other lecture but what are some of the treatments which may be given for patients co-morbid conditions with psychosis?

A

In psychosis with mood disorder other biological treatments available - mood stabilisers eg lithium, sodium valproate, carbamazepine, lamotrigine (bipolar)

Antidepressants

ECT
