  1. Dysphagia, diaphoresis
  2. Tremor, tachycardia
  3. Conciousness (confusio nto coma)
  4. Leukocytosis, mutism
  5. Lab findings = elevated CK

Management of NMS

A
  1. Stop antipsychotics
  2. Full exam
  3. Exclude other organic (Sepsis, ST syndrome, Dystonia, Stroke, Encephalistis)
  4. Transfer to ICU (Sup measure
  5. Call for help (registrars)
  6. Benzodiazepines for agitation
  7. Wait 5 days before challenge
