Signs and symptoms of NMS?
A

- Dysphagia, diaphoresis
- Tremor, tachycardia
- Conciousness (confusio nto coma)
- Leukocytosis, mutism
- Lab findings = elevated CK

Management of NMS
A
- Stop antipsychotics
- Full exam
- Exclude other organic (Sepsis, ST syndrome, Dystonia, Stroke, Encephalistis)
- Transfer to ICU (Sup measure
- Call for help (registrars)
- Benzodiazepines for agitation
- Wait 5 days before challenge
