It runs from the Ventral Tegmental Area to Ventral Striatum. Positive symptoms of schizophrenia.
Course of Mesocortical and responsible symptoms if blocked
VTA to pre-frontal cortex. Responsible for negative symptoms of schizophrenia
Course of Nigrostrial and responsible symptoms if blocked
Substantia Nigra to caudate nucleus. Responsible for EPSE.
Course of Tuberoinfundibular and responsible symptoms if blocked.
Hypthalamous to pituitary gland. Responsible for hyperprolactinemia.
