Study of the mind and the behaviours that result from what goes on in it.

Someone/thing responds to a stimulus in a way that does not bring about that response

What is the Ego
The consciuos, rational part of the mind, operates on the reality principle.
What is the Id?
The unconscious, insinctual part of the mind, operates on the pleasure principle. (aggression, sexual)
What is the superego?
The unconscious, moral centre of the mind. (The id and superego are in constant conflict).

Behaviourism
What is behaviourism
The idea that all behaviours are acquired through conditioning. (Actions with positive outcomes will be repeated)
