Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behavior such as emotions, thoughts and actions
What are the two main things that effect a persons behavior?
- Environment = A persons behavior is influenced by how they were raised
- Genetics = Influenced by the genetics that run in the family
What are the differences between a Psychologist and a Psychiatrist?
Psychologists: - Does not prescribe medications - Uses treatments such as counselling and therapy Psychiatrists: - Specializes in abnormal behavior - Completes a medical degree - Uses treatments such as medications

- help with anxiety management
