Deductive Reasoning?

Inductive Reasoning?
a method of drawing conclusions by going from the specific to the general.
Hypothesis?
an educated guess, or a guess you make based on information you already know
Theory?
a well-substantiated explanation of an aspect of the natural world that can incorporate laws, hypotheses and facts.

Cross- Sectional vs Longitudal?
Cross sectional is multiple segments of a population at a single time (Like different ages) while Longitude studies the same group of people over time.
Attrition?
Reduction of participants over time.
