Involves stage 1,2 and REM
If too long and awake during stage 3,4 they will feel even more tired
microsleep is when you dont notice you falling asleep

Reduce amount of deep sleep
Peaks at 30-60 mins
half life 3-5 hours
Sleeping pills
Does not interfere with REM sleep
Short acting pill with no addiction potential no side effects
Only prescribed by doctor and limited to one or two nights
After taking dont fly for 8-10 hours
