Mental disorders have a biological viewpoint, mental illness like schizophernia and bipolar are viewed as biological conditions as not everyone experiences through them

Mental disorders can originate from life experiences, majority of those experiences come from physical abused and sexual
Stress Vulnerability Model
Some indiviuals are more vulnerable to mental illness but due to their personality but it is inherited through biologically, stress can cause weak immune systems which then can lead to increase in mental symptoms

- loneliness was greater in those with an annual income of less than 50k earnings
- Younger females 18-29 yr displayed greater anxiety depressive symptoms and loneliness than males.

All age groups except for the age 65 and above were less likly to report good mental health during COVID-19
ages 15-24 had a 42% reported excellence mental health while in 2018 there is a 62%

A state of Well being which an individual notices their abilities and able to cope with everyday stress as well as contributing to their community
