Inheritable Traits
Offspring trait that resembles from your parent/relatives.
Gestalt
More than your life experiences and inheritable traits form your parents basically being viewed as a whole instead off one particular thing.
Structuralism
A study where all elements physical, environmental, psychological, and emotional experiences are developed to make the whole complex experience. Introspection analyzes peoples thoughts intensely.
Functionalism
A psychological approach that views mental life and behavior in. terms of active adaption into environmental challenges and opportunities.
Biological
Has to do with the biological process of psychology. Example chemicals in your brain, diet and inheritable facts.
Behavioral
Environment shapes a person. Example a teacher uses rewards to incentivize student learning.
Cognitive
Having to do with with the thought process or thinking. Example memory.
Humanistic
Focuses on a person as a whole and not one particular thing
Psychoanalytical
Looks at the subconscious mind, pulling repressed memories out.
Sociocultural
Focuses on the role of environmental having on a humans psyche.
Placebo
An Inert Treatment “Sugar Pill”
Placebo Effect
the tendency of getting treatment to believe that the treatment is actually working and making you fell better.
