Organizational Behaviour
a field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, groups and structure have on behavior within organizations for the purpose of applying such knowledge towards improving an organization’s effectiveness

Freud. Governed by instinctive forces, many of which are outside our consciousness
ID state
prominent among those instincts are sex and aggression. it operated on the pleasure principle. it wants gratification and now. cannot distinguish between fantasy and reality
The Ego
channels the ID impulses so they are expressed in a socially acceptable way. It operates of reality principle. can distinguish between reality and fantasy.
The Superego
develops during childhood. it defines ideas standards and operated on the principle of perfection
Who created introversion and extroversion?
Carl Jung (sensing, intuition, feeling and thinking)
Unconscious psychological conflict leads to
anxiety. we cannot say why we feel anxious. we try to avoid and push the facts away.
two defense mechanism and what are they
Regression: return to a former or less developed state
Projection: we see in other people what we do not like in ourselves
Freudian’s slips
accidental slip of the tongue. unconscious tell us what you really think.
