Anticholinergic (dry eyes, constipation, urinary retention, blurred vision)
Adrenergic (post hypotension)
Histaminergic (weight gain and sleepy)
Cardiotoxic (QT prolonged, ST elevated, HB, arrythmia)

Contraception post birth?
- 21 days non needed
- Breast feeding can be effective contraception in itself- need to be properly breast feeding and have ammenorhoea
- Remember that the combined pill should not be started before six weeks after childbirth in women that are breastfeeding. The progesterone-only pill or implant can be started any time after birth
- Coil/mirena within 48 hrs of birth or over 4 weeks
Signs and symptoms of endometritis?
o Foul smelling discharge or lochia o Bleeding that gets heavier or does not improve with time o Lower abdo or pelvic pain o Fever o Sepsis
