  • Cheese, alcohol, beef, chicken liver, chocolate
  • these foods have tyramine in them which can react with the MAOI to cause life threatening elevations in noradrenaline
  • Tranylcypromine (Parnate), phenelzine (Nardil) and isocarboxazid
