- Weight change/change in appetite
- Sleep disturbances - too much or too little
- Reduced concentration
- Thoughts of death/suicide
- Psychomotor aggitation
- Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt

A
Mild - 2 core and 2 typical
Moderate - 2 core and 3 typical
Severe - 2 core and 4 typical

What are the general principles of management in depression?
A
Sleep hygiene - regular sleep and wake times, avoid excess eating, smoking or drinking before sleep.
Regular excercise
Active monitoring - arrange further assessment within 2 weeks
