Dx of schizophrenia
A) 2 of: delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, catatonia/disorganized, negative symptoms
B) Decreased level of functioning
C) Persists for 6 months
Dx of schizophreniform
Same as schizophrenia but the condition has lasted more than 1 month and less than 6
Dx of schizoaffective
Meets criteria A of schizophrenia during a major mood episode.
Delusions/hallucinations for 2 weeks in the absence of a MME
Dx of Delusional disorder
A) 1 or more delusions for >1month
B) never met criteria A for schizophrenia
C) Functioning not impaired, behavior not bizarre
Brief psychotic disorder
lasts 1 day to 1 moth with a full return to baseline
Is schizophrenia more prevalent in men or women?
Men
Is schizoaffective more prevalent in men or women?
Women
Cluster A personality disorders
Odd/eccentric: Paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal
Cluster B personality disorders
Dramatic/emotional: Antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic
