2 or more sxs

What are sxs of schizophrenia?
A
- delusions
- hallucinations
- disorganized sxs (incoherent speeach, aimless/peculair motor behavior)
- negative sxs (social withdrawal, avolution)

How long does someone need to have sxs before being able to dx with schizophrenia?
A
over 6 months

What is schizophreniform?
A
shcizophrenic sxs for 1 -6 months

What is schizoaffective disorder?
A
d/o characterized by baseline of psychosis w/inter-epidose mood sxs with at last 2 weeks absence of mood sxs and just psychotic sxs
(mood sxs– depression, mania, hypomania, mixed)
