guttate psoriasis = stand the best chance of clearing (⅓ go on to develop chronic plaque psoriasis)

(scalp, nail, genital)

tx: light (aka phototherapy)
Genital and flexural psoriasis
cannot be treated by light treatment
palmoplantar psoriasis
significant functional impairment

replace any fluid loss and screen for sepsis
generalised pustular psoriasis

subungual hyperkeratosis

PASI involves = body surface involvement, how thick how scaly how red it is, score >10 → psoriasis
you qualify for biologic therapies if score >10

chronic eczema = lichen simplex chronicus
in a flexure, not extensor
atopic, more well-demarcated
tx with super-potent steroids (beclometasone, oral prednisolone) NOT FOR PSORIASIS OR YOU WILL DESTABILISE IT
