Q

Why is Bruggeman’s Typology so important?

A

Because it’s the only significant typology that is different from Gunkel’s. He is interested in the form and function within the season of life. The function of the psalm depends on who, how, and when they say them.
- If the psalm of praise is said through clenched teeth, could be a song of disorientation.(BAS)
