When does rehab start?
Starts at the time of injury

Restoring to the highest possible level of functioning through the use of therapy

What is a care conference?
Used to discuss care required to be done within 3 months after admission. Health care team and family are generally present

Capillaries do what job?
Stretch blood to outer limbs and surface
Describe the functions of blood
Heart pumps blood, it has oxygen O2, Red blood cells (RBC) carry O2 Binds O2 White blood cells (WBC) fighter cells ^ when sick Provides nutrients Platelets help with clotting decreased bleed out happens increased pt scabs quickly Plasma
