What is a “Protostome”?
Protostomes are a group of animals where the initial opening in the embryo develops into the mouth.
Ex: Snails, worms, bugs
What are the two types of Protostomes?
Lophotrochozoa- grow by added tissue.
Ecdysoza- grow by molting

Lophoohore- A ring of ciliated tentacles encircles the mouth, which is employed for filter-feeding.
