Protocol Steps Flashcards
Plasma (explain the purpose of the treatment)
Plasma has anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties. We need to stop the inflammation that is tearing up that joint so that you can heal.
What is the purpose of the deep tissue laser?
We use a deep tissue laser before each treatment. It’s purpose is to reduce inflammation and increase blood flow. We find that this increases the effectiveness of each step.
What is the purpose of A2M (Alpha 2 Macroglobulin)?
A2M is a protein that is present in your blood. It’s job is to find harmful enzymes and foreign particles. It binds to these problem-causing particles and removes them from your body. We concentrate this protein and place it at the site of the injury where is can’t halt the downward trajectory of your joint.
What is the purpose of the stem cell treatment (Bone Marrow Aspiration Concentrate)?
We use stem cells to treat joint injuries because they have amazing abilities. Your stem cells are capable of changing into the type of cells your joint needs to heal. Cartilage, tendon, ligament; stem calls can become those cells and fill in where you have damage in your joint
What is the purpose of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)?
PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is a component of your blood that we concentrate in order to treat your injury. Platelets are designed to find injuries and point them out for repair. Like a conductor.
