Describe the makeup of amalgam.

Composite Resin
Describe the makeup of composite resin.
Resin matrix (also known as BIS-GMA, a material used to make synthetic resins) Inorganic fillers (quartz, glass, silica) Coupling agent (to strengthen and chemically bond he filler to the resin matrix)
Contradictions to Sealants
List six contradictions to the placement of dental sealants.
- Lack of deep pits and fissures.
- Obvious dental caries
- Any proximal surface decay
- Insufficiently erupted teeth
- Primary tooth that is expected to be lost soon
- Patient’s poor cooperation in the dental chair
