R v Vinall
Facts: two men were cycling when the defendants began to shout verbal abuse at them and attack them. defendants walked away and one picked up a bike which was left by a bus shelter
R v Pitham and Hehl
Facts: D sold furniture that belonged to another person which was held as appropriation.
Held: assumed the rights of the owner
R v Morris
facts: D switched price labels and tried to get through checkout with the cheaper price.
Held: assumed owners rights to put a price label on the goods
Lawrence v Commissioner for Metropolitan Police
Facts: Italian student went to pay for his taxi but D said it wasn’t enough so the Italian boy gestured for D to take the right amount. D took a lot more than he should have.
