Specific Intent Crime
Lawfulness of possession followed by unlawful conversion
- Fraudulent
- Conversion
- Property by Another
- By a person in lawful possession of that property
Elements of False Pretenses
Specific Intent Crime
Def. persuades owner of property to convey title
- Obtaining title
- To property of another
- By intentional false statement of past or existing fact
- with intent to defraud
Larceny by trick v. false pretenses: larceny by trick obtains possession; false pretenses obtains title
Elements of Robbery
Robbery = Larceny + Assault
- Taking
- Personal Property of Another
- From another’s person or presence
- By force or intimidation *** (must be of IMMINENT harm, not necessarily to the victim)
- With itent to permanently deprive
Elements of Extorion
= blackmail
Extortion v. Robbery: Extortion = threat of future harm does not need to be from person to person; Robbery = imminent harm, from person or presence.

- Entry (any part of Ds body enters)

- With intent ic committing a felony therein (mut exist at the time of breaking)

possesion and control of known stolen property with the intent to permanently deprive. Intent at receipt of property.
