Bandwagon
Influences people to do something by making it appear as if everyone else is doing it to.
Assertion
Enthusiastic or energetic statement presented as a fact, although it may not be true.
Card stacking
Presenting only positive info about an idea, leaving out the negative and neglecting important info.
Glittering generalities
Powerful words that are used to influence people to agree to something because they feel the importance of the word.
Lesser of two evils
Convincing you to make a bad choice by comparing it to something worse, when there could be another option.
Name calling
Use of derogatory language and words of negative connotation against a target to invoke prejudice among the public.
Pinpointing the enemy

Plain folks
Someone presents themselves as a relatable person, as an average joe.
Either/or fallacy or also called simplification(stereotyping)
Reduces a complex situation to a clear cut choice involving good and evil
Testimonials(type of transfer)
When someone famous or respected is approving a product, which makes someone trust that product.
Transfer
It is an attempt to make the subject view a certain item in the same way as they view another item, to link the two subjects in mind.
Faulty cause and effect
Creating a false statement by stating one thing causes another been though they are not DIRECTLY related. Correlation does not equal causation.
Propaganda
A systematic and planned process of persuasion used to reach a specific “target audience” and get them to act or think in a desired manner.
