Describe the difference between ça and ce.
Ce is often used before être, usually corresponding to “it” or “they”. Ça is primarily used for “it” or “that” before other verbs.
When should you use ce vs il when followed by a noun?
If “it” in this case is describing a profession or position with no other defining article, it is il/elle est. Otherwise, it’s always c’est.
When should you use ce vs il when followed by an adjective?
Use ce when it’s a stand-alone statement, but il when it is followed up by a dependent clause.
What is the pronoun on used for?
On is generally an informal, spoken catch all pronoun meaning one, you, us, someone, or they. It is only a subject pronoun.

A subject is what the sentence is about, and the object is what the sentence affects.

What are stressed pronouns and when should you use them?
Moi and toi are the stressed versions of me/te, usually put after a preposition, after c’est, with - même, or when needed to emphasize distinction such as a double subject or a negative sentence.
What are the reflexive pronouns, and how are they used?
Me, te/toi, vous, nous, and se. They are used in the myself/yourself/himself sense.
What form rules do possessive pronouns follow?
They must match the gender of the subject of posession, and the number of owners.
What are all of the possessive forms and pronouns?
Singular masculine: mon, ton, son,
Singular feminine: ma, ta, sa (if followed by a vowel, revert to masculine)
Singular plural: mes, tes, ses
Multiple singular, m/f: notre, votre, leur
Multiple plural: nos, vos, leurs
What is the pronoun en used for?
En translates to “some”, replacing de+noun in context. Can also replace a noun in a sentence with quantity.

Someone: quelqu’un
