Q

When do you use se as an indirect object pronoun?

A

When the indirect object pronouns le or les are used in combination with the direct objects lo, los, la, or las. So you don’t have to lalalala.

e.g. Se la compré a los niños. (I bought it for the kids)

*notice that “se” refers to the kids but “a los niños” is repeated for clarification.
