Projection Flashcards
What is the PP of TAYLOR METHOD INLET
Supine; ASISs equidistant from table, knee flexed slightly, IR enter at the level of trochantera
What is the CR of TAYLOR METHOD INLET
40°CAUDAD AT THE LEVEL OF ASIS
WHAT IS THE SS of TAYLOR METHOD INLET
PELVIC RING/ INLET
What is the PP of TAYLOR METHOD OUTLET
Supine ; ASIS equidistant from table, knee flexed slightly
What is the CR of TAYLOR METHOD OUTLET
20-35° cephalad males and 30-45° females, 2in distal to superior border of pubic symphysis
WHAT IS THE SS of TAYLOR METHOD OUTLET
Pelvic outlet, superior/ inferior rami without foreshortening
What is the PP OF BILATERAL FROG LEG
Supine; ASIS equidistant from table, hip and knee flexed and feet draw up abduct
both femora 40° to 45° from vertical. Ensure that both
femora are abducted the same amount and that pelvis is
not rotated
What is the cr of bilateral frog leg
Perpendicular 3 inches below level of ASIS, 3 inches above the symphysis pubis in 1 in. Superior to pubic symphysis
What is the ss of bilateral frog leg
Accetabulum, femoral head, femoral neck , trochanteric area
What is the PP OF DANELIUS MILLER
Supine, pelvis elavated knee and hip of unaffected side rested on support foot and leg of rotated 15-20 vertical IR to long axis of femora
What is the CR OF DANELIUS MILLER
CR is perpendicular to femoral neck and to IR
WHAT IS THE SS OF DANELIUS MILLER
Hip joint, Acetabulum, femoral neck, femoral head and trochanters
What is the PP OF TEUFEL METHOD
Semiprone, Place patient in 35° to 40° anterior oblique, with both pelvis
and thorax 35° to 40° from tabletop. Support with wedge
sponge.
What id the CR of TEUFEL METHOD
12°cephalad, Centered of 1inches above greater trochanters approx 2 inches internal to MSP
WHAT IS THE SS OF TEUFEL METHOD
Fovea capitis, superposterior wall of accetabulum
What is the PP OF JUDET METHODS
With patient semisupine, provide pillow for head and position for
Laffected side up or down
Place patient in 45° posterior oblique, with both pelvis and thorax
45° from tabletop. Support with wedge sponge.
• Align femoral head and acetabulum of interest to midline of tabletop and/or IR.
What is the CR OF JUDET METHOD
Downside, Perpendicular and centered 2in distal and 2 inches medial downside of ASIS
Upside, perpendicular and centered 2in directly distal to upside of ASIS
WHAT IS THE SS OF JUDET METHOD
Accetabular rim
