Knowledge that can be codified using symbols such as words, numbers, or pictures.
What is tacit knowledge?
Personal knowledge that can be difficult to articulate and share such as beliefs, experience, and insights.
What do lean production methods do?
They use techniques such as value stream mapping to measure the ratio of value-adding activities and non-value-adding activities.
What are the objectives from a physical resources perspective?
Reduce or eliminate the material handling and storage on-site
Eliminate wait time for materials
Minimize scrap and waste

What does RFP stand for?
Request for proposal.
What does SOW stand for?
Statement of work.
What is a request for information?
A request for information is used to gather more information from the market prior to sending out bid documents to a set of selected vendors.
What is a request for proposal?
This bid document is used for complex or complicated scope where the buyer is looking for the vendor to provide a solution.
What is a request for scope?
This bid document is used when price is the main deciding factor, and the proposed solution is readily available.
How are changes made to a predictive project?
The project manager works with the change control boar and the change requestor to guide change requests through the change control process.
