Linearised Navier-Stokes(LNS) simulations have been carried out for boundary layer formed over a flat plate at Re τ = 905 with wall-jet control and its effect has been seen on transient growth of near-wall streaks and production of turbulent kinetic energy.

A modified SMAC based pressure-correction scheme was used for the soln of governing eqn. collocated Cartesian mesh of 201 × 81 × 61.
forcing term (which models the non-linear terms) emulates a localised Gaussian vorticity source which generates cross-flow perturbations leading to the generation of near-wall streaks.
