A

Productivity is the amount of output per hour per worker-“rate of output”.

A

Efficiency is ability to produce output at minimum costs- Economies of Scale used.

Productivity depends on:

A

1-quality of input-business investing in high quality machinery increases productivity as products are delivered faster and at a standard quality.

2-productivity depends on motivation in labour work force, where is employees motivated they are driven to work harder and meet productivity levels
However, they may be financially driven which their motivation will fall when they are used to pay.

Efficiency depends on:

A

1- the quality of inputs, where if employees are an asset where they are trained they will produce efficiently as they are skilled- make less mistakes=less wastage.

2-management of human resources, if there is a sense of co ordination in workplace, workers produce efficiently as they are well organised and not disrupted.
