HAVE NERIUM’S SKINCARE PRODUCTS BEEN TESTED FOR ALLERGIC REACTIONS?
Yes. The products have undergone rigorous, industry-standard dermatological safety testing to assess the potential for irritation and allergy. This ensures the vast majority of users will not experience an allergic response.
ARE NERIUM PRODUCTS SAFETY TESTED?
Nerium products have undergone extensive safety testing. Testing has been performed at accredited laboratories, following Good Laboratory Practices and industry-recognized protocols. The products are safe to use.
ARE THERE OCCASIONAL DIFFERENCES IN NERIUM PRODUCTS?
Our products are formulated with several proprietary compounds sourced from natural plants. Even though standard extraction protocols are followed, plant extracts may exhibit slight differences throughout the year depending on the environment and time in which the actual plants are harvested. These slight differences in appearance have no impact in any way on the safety, quality or efficacy of the product.
CAN NERIUM PRODUCTS BE USED WITH OTHER SKINCARE PRODUCTS?
Yes, there should be no impact on efficacy. As a general recommendation, you may want to test a small area of skin with both products before applying them on a larger area to see if there is any reaction to the combination.
CAN NERIUM PRODUCTS BE USED ON PROBLEM SKIN?
Nerium products are cosmetics and are not designed to treat, cure or heal medical skin conditions. If you have a skin condition and would like to try the product, first test on a small area to ensure there is no reaction and that the product is compatible with your skin.
SHOULD I CHANGE THE AMOUNT OF NERIUM PRODUCTS I USE FOR DIFFERENT SEASONS OR TEMPERATURES?
External environmental changes can play a major role in impacting the condition of the skin. As the climate changes from winter to summer, your skin may become very dry or sunburned, and require different amounts of Nerium products to be used to compensate for some of these transitional, more sensitive and reactive skin states.
DOES NERIUM WORK ON ALL SKIN TYPES?
Nerium products are designed to work with all skin types. However, that does not eliminate the possibility that someone with highly reactive or sensitive skin may experience minor irritation. If you feel this may be the case for your skin, it’s best to test the product on a small area before applying it to a larger area.
HOW DO I INTRODUCE NERIUM INTO MY DAILY ROUTINE?
Every time a new product is introduced to your daily routine, you may or may not encounter a temporary response. In some cases, your skin may need to gradually become accustomed or adapt to a product prior to long-term usage. We recommend allowing at least two to three weeks for your skin to acclimate. If you have a severe reaction, stop using any new products and seek medical advice.
HOW SHOULD NERIUM PRODUCTS BE STORED?
Due to the nature of the products, they can be impacted by extremely hot or cold temperatures (for example: being left in the trunk of a car). As a rule, follow the storage conditions stated on the package to preserve the product’s highest quality as established by Nerium. Keep bottles at room temperature as much as possible.
DO NERIUM SKINCARE PRODUCTS HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE?
Currently there are no regulations or requirements in the United States to include expiration dates on cosmetic products. Nerium has established a twoyear shelf life on our products; this time expectation is supported as long as the products are stored correctly. If you suspect the products have not been stored properly, please ensure the contents have not changed color, consistency or smell before applying or selling. If this is the case, do not apply or sell the products.
IS NERIUM NIGHT CREAM CONSIDERED A MOISTURIZER?
No. Our Night Cream was not specifically designed to moisturize, although there are certain ingredients in the formula that can help hydrate the skin. Our Day Cream, however, is a very effective moisturizer.
CAN I APPLY ILLUMABOOST™ BRIGHTENING & SHIELD DIRECTLY TO MY SKIN?
Yes, IllumaBoost can be mixed with your product or applied directly to your skin. Its thin texture allows the product to immediately soak into your skin with no sticky or tacky residue.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T USE THE BOTTLE OF ILLUMABOOST WITHIN 15 DAYS AFTER OPENING?
The product is safe to use after 15 days of opening; however, the potency of the ingredients will diminish as time goes on.
CAN I USE THE EYE PATCH IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EYE SERUM?
Eye Patches can be used as a complementary product along with our Age-Defying Eye Serum for a complete age-defying eye regimen. It can also be used as a standalone product.
CAN I USE PROLISTIC™ LOTION WITH NERIUM’S FIRMING BODY CONTOUR CREAM? HOW ARE THEY DIFFERENT?
Yes. Prolistic Lotion helps soothe and support your skin’s natural, healthy state, while Firm helps smooth and tone the appearance of problem areas. We recommend using Firm first, then layering Prolistic Lotion on top of it.
