What are ocean ridges? how do they form?
A
Ocean ridges are formed by magma upwelling and cooling into new oceanic crust. This process occurs at divergent tectonic plate boundaries, where two plates move apart. As the magma rises, it solidifies and contributes to the growth of the ocean floor e.g. cocos ridge
