A

Fast track (CPR 28)

A

up to £25,000, provided that:
(a) the trial is likely to last no longer than one
day (five hours); and
(b) there will only be oral expert evidence
from one expert per party in each of no

Intermediate track (CPR 28)

A

fixed recoverable costs for less complex claims valued at more than £25,000, but not more than £100,000.

  • the trial will not last longer than three days;
  • oral expert evidence is likely to be limited to two experts per claim;
  • the claim may be justly and proportionately managed under the procedure set out in CPR 28 Section IV; and
  • there are no additional factors which make the claim inappropriate for the intermediate track.
