posterior approach
between C7 and T1
flouroscopy, aim for lamina

A

place needle within sphenopalatine fossa, lateral flouroscopy
then AP approach, lateral mandibular, find foramen ovale
stimulate with find V2 or V2 (V1 injections can result in herpes zoster)

sympathetics, so block for cluster headache
