Patient supine, Affected arm extended, hand supinated ,w/ IR supported behind shoulder of interest. CR angled 20° towards patient through axillary region.
Describe the Superior - inferior sho axial shoulder projection.
Patient seated next to table, affected arm extend over table, elbow at 90° hand pronated. IR table top beneath shoulder. CR angled 10° through the shoulder towards the elbow.
Describe the scapular Y PA shoulder projection.
Patient PA against wall Bucky, shoulder of interest against the IR. Oblique patient towards IR to align the scapula body to the IRM. Collimate 12” LW and 1” from lateral shadow.

Patient PA at wall Bucky, affected shoulder to the IR. Affected arm at a 90º w/ hand supinated behind patients back. CR to mid scapular border.

Describe the AP axial foot projection.
10” by 12” IR placed LW table top, foot flat against IR knee bent. CR angled 10° towards the ankle at the base of the 3rd metacarpal. Collimate 1” past the heel and toes.

Foot flat on table top 10” by 12” IR , knee rolled medially. CR to the base of the 3rd metatarsal.
Collimate 1” past the toes and heel.
Describe the lateral foot projection.
Foot laterally against table top IR lateral side down. CR to the base of the 3rd metatarsal.

Patient PA at wall Bucky in the chicken wing position. IR 2” above relaxed shoulder. Expose on 2nd deep inspiration. CR at T7 on mid back.

Patient In a left lateral position against wall Bucky. Arms raised and cleared from imposition. Expose on 2nd deep inspiration. CR at T7 on MCP.
