6 Section Foil

A

Always section the middle of the head, the parietals, and the nape creating 6 sections. Sections depend on what effect the guest wants. Light effect is 1/2 inch apart, medium is 1/4 inch apart and heavy is 1/8 inch apart. For the nape make v like subsections on both sides until you get a triangle. Make horizontal sections on the triangle. On the sides of the head make v like subsection leaving a triangle at the end of each. On the top of the head make v like sections leaving a triangle at the end of each. You should end up with a diamond at the end. Make diagonal sections in the diamond. To make a more blended or blocky look depends on the weave effect. Strong is 2-3 weaves, medium is 6-8 weaves and fine is 10-12 weaves.
