Station/Towel Set Up
A
Put all brushes, combs, hair clips, and scissors in the middle of your clean towel.

A
- Let guest know that you’ll pass a selection of aromas under their nose and that the aroma is supposed to relieve stress
- Ask them if they like or dislike an the aroma
- Narrow down choices to one aroma
- Apply aroma to guest
- Let them know they can purchase the aroma

Scalp and Shoulder Massage
A
- Rake hair
- Massage front of head to back of head
(Do all movements 3 times each) - Butterfly movement on back
- Massage shoulders
- Piano on shoulders
- Press pressure point on the neck
- Press pressure point under the head
- Zigzag like motion from top of the head to back of the head
- Press pressure point on the temples
- Scissor the ears
- Pinch the ears
- Rake hair again
- Massage shoulders again
- Piano on shoulders again
- Butterfly movement again
- Circles on back the flick off to finish

Neck and Shoulder Massage
A
1. Apply concentrate to back of neck (Do all movements 3x) 2. Butterfly movement 3. Massage neck and shoulders 4. Piano movement 5. Move to side massage neck in upward motions 6. Move behind and massage temples 7. Pinch outside of ear from top to bottom 8. Hair rake movement 9. Massage shoulders 10. Piano movement 11. Butterfly movement 12. Place hand on top of each other and make circles around the back stopping at the center 13. Flick off on back

Blow dry wrap dry technique
A
- Add product to hair
- Section hair into six parts (section the middle of the head, on the occipital of each side and the nape of each side)
- Lower nape sections and pre dry by brushing hair left and right aiming at the scalp of the head
- Use paddle brush and comb hair straight down while following with the blow dryer
- Use the end of the paddle brush to bevel the ends of the hair
- Lower occipital sections and pre dry the by brushing hair left to right aiming at the scalp of the head
- Use paddle brush and comb hair straight down while following with the blow dryer
- Use the end of the paddle brush to bevel the ends of the hair
- Lower the top section of the head and pre dry by brushing hair left and right aiming at the scalp of the head
- Use paddle brush and comb hair straight down while following with the blow dryer
- Use the end of the paddle brush to bevel the ends of the hair
- Add finishing product into the hair

- Add product to hair

- Section the hair in the middle of the head
- Start the haircut at the nape making horizontal subsections and being in first position
- Cut hair below fingers while having no elevation or over direction
- Cut the hair to guests desired length or below the shoulder
- Use the previous subsection to cut the next subsection, the guide is a stationary
- When cutting at the ear or above the ear make sure to not put a lot of tension on the hair
- When done the haircut should have weight on the perimeter

- Section hair in the middle of the head
- Start haircut in the nape making diagonal subsections in the going inwards
- Cut the hair using no over direction and having 0 elevation
- Body position is the lunge position and scissor position palm to palm, the guide is stationary
- When cutting above the ear make sure there is little to no tension
- Weight should be observed at the perimeter

- Section the hair in the middle of the head
- Start the haircut at the nape making horizontal subsections and being in first position
- Cut hair below fingers while having no elevation or over direction

Triangular graduation
A
- Section the hair in the middle of the head
- Start at the nape making 1 inch diagonal subsections on both sides
- For the first subsection elevate the hair 1 finger width above the neck
- Have the head tilted forward and use cross over 1 on the left side, scissor position should be palm to palm (fingers pointed up and scissor pointed down)
- On the right side use some of the hair on the left side as a guide
- Use crossover 2 and palm to palm keeping elevation finger width away from the neck to cut the right side
- On the second subsection elevate the hair 2 finger width from the head using some of the bottom hair as a guide, the guide is moving
- On the next subsections place comb on the crown of the head to determine elevation and over direct the hair backwards
- Weight is this haircut is distributed forward

Botanical Repair Treatment
A
- Massage guest head with brush
- Apply pramasana purifying scalp cleanser
- Apply shampoo either damage Remedy or dry Remedy
- Rinse product out
- Apply pramasana nourishing scalp masque onto hair (section hair then apply through the whole head)
- Rinse masque off
- Apply invati scalp revitalizer onto the damp hair or invati men for males

Triangular Long Layers
A
- Section the hair into 5 section, (parietal ridge, vertical section on left and right mastoid process going vertical, and in the middle of the nape)
- Start at the nape on the left side
- Making 1 inch vertical subsections
- Using first position face your left hip towards the ear
- Elevate the hair to 90 degrees
- You will be cutting the hair over your fingers
- This is a moving guide
- After each subsection on the left side you’ll need to walk backwards
- On the back right side have your hip face the middle of the head
- Use some hair from the left side as a guide
- You will be walking forward on this side
- On the left section above the ear over direct the hair backwards keeping elevation at 90 degrees
- On the right section over the ear over direct the hair backwards keeping elevation at 90 degrees
- On the top of the head use the bottom hair as a guide, while over direction backwards and keeping elevation at 90 degrees

Long Round Layers
A
- Section the hair in the middle of the head until the apex then make a vertical section from the back or the ears to the apex
- Start at the front of the head taking diagonal subsections from the middle of the head
- To cut the front of the head stand in first position elevating the hair to 90 degrees over directing forward using palm to palm
- To cut the back of the right side stand in first position with you hip facing the middle of the head
- Make vertical subsections and bring the hair up to 90 degrees
- You will need to cut over you fingers
- After every subsection you’ll need to walk forward
- The left side of the head is the same you’ll just need to walk backwards instead

Square Layers
A
- Section the hair in the middle of the head, the parietal ridge and the nape creating 6 sections
- Start at the nape
- Make vertical subsections
- On the left side use crossover 1 and on the right side use cross over 2
- Elevate the hair to 90 degrees and over direct backwards
- Cut the back using palm to palm
- To cut above the nape make vertical subsections while using some hair from the bottom section as a guide
- To create the curve of the head tilt head away from you then stand in either cross over 1 or 2 depending on which side you’re working on and over direct the hair forward then cut using palm to palm
- When cutting the sides stand in first position and repeat steps 5 and 6
- To create the guide on the top make a vertical subsection on the left and right side
- Stand in front of the guest using first position
- Use the previous cut section on the apex as a guide
- Elevate hair to 90 degrees and cut using over the fingers
- To cut the top make horizontal subsections
- Cut at 90 degrees and using over the fingers
