Change my way of thinking and thought processes from negative to positive.
Not feeling or thinking positively
Determine what my current intentions are and then decide what I want them to be.
Focus is outside myself; nervous; anxious
Feel good inside of myself. Focus on myself and what I’m doing. Tune into myself.
Feeling or thinking negative thoughts
Make fun of my negative thoughts and feelings. Over-exaggerate them. Make them into a funny sitcom or cartoon.
Feeling bad, nervous, or anxious about others and myself.
Like, be grateful for, and appreciate the qualities in others so that I can like and appreciate those same qualities in myself.
Feeling bad, nervous, or anxious about a situation and myself.
Like, be grateful for, and appreciate all the little things around; the air, the sun, art, etc… Let these things make me feel good.
Feeling needy
Be content. Pretend I already have what I want. “If I were to have my greatest wish come true, how would I feel and act right now? Feel like that always.”
Feeling down
Mimic mannerisms of when I’m in state.
Feeling anxious about a conversation
Be genuinely interested in what’s being said rather than being off in my own thoughts. Feel it. Be present. Have fun with it.
Focusing on bad things
Focus on the good things that happen in life
Annoyed, anxious, angry
Rather than blame the conductor, correct the situation. Be solution oriented. “Stress is created by the mind of anger that is rejecting the situation.”
Mind is too active, anxious, moving or speaking too quickly
Stop trying to get the feelings I want and start being them. Being, not doing.
Slow, sluggish, depressed
Act in the moment; act on instinct
Moving or speaking too quickly, anxious
Slow down both movement and speech. Don’t be afraid of interruption or of things not going the way you want.
Stumbling in movement or speech
Speak more simply. Sing. Dance. Talk and move with rythmn.
Have a minor misfortune
Find it funny and exhilarating.
