A
Cannot happen at the same time.
Eg. Being even and odd
Prime and square
Club and spade

What do you do if two events are mutually exclusive?
A
You add them:
P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B)

What are independent events?
A
Two events are independent if the outcome of one doesn’t affect the other.

You multiply them:
