How can you act as PIC of a high-performance or complex airplane?
Received and logged ground and flight training from authorized instructor in a high performance airplane.
Received and logged a one-time endorsement in your logbook.

Define high-altitude airplane
Pressurized airplane with a service ceiling or maximum operating altitude above 25,000 feet.
Define complex airplane
Airplanes with retractable landing gear, flaps and a controllable pitch propeller.
Define category
A broad cliassification of aircraft. ie. airplane, rotorcraft, glider
Define class
A classification of aircraft within a category having similar operating characteristics. ie. SEL, MEL
Define type
A specific make and basic model of aircraft including modifications that do noth change its handling or flight characteristics. ie.C172

Flight review w/in 24 months
Requirements to carry passengers
3 takeoffs and landings w/in 90 days in same category, class and (if required) type.
Requirements to carry passengers at night
3 takeoffs and landings w/in period of 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise to a full stop

Accomplished minimum FAA regulatory requirements and you are legal
