Steep turns
A
- Perform two 90° clearing turns
- 100 KIAS (approx. 2300 RPM), maintain alt.
- Cruise configuration flow
- Roll into 45° bank
- Maintain alt. and airspeed (+back pressure, + approx. 1-200 RPM
- Roll out 1/2 bank angle prior to entry heading
- Clear traffic and roll in opposite direction
- Roll out 1/2 bank angle prior to entry heading
- Cruise checklist
A.s. +-10 KIAS, alt. +-100’, bank 45°+-5°, heading +-10°

Maneuvering during slow flight
A
- Perform two 90° clearing turns
- 1500 RPM (maintain altitude)
- Landing configuration flow
- Maintain alt. - slow to just above stall warning activation (approx. 50-55 KIAS)
- Power as required to maintain airspeed and alt.
- Accomplish level flight, climbs, turns and descents as required without activating a stall warning
(ATP max 30° bank) - Recover - max power, maintain alt., flaps to 0°
- Accelerate to 64 KIAS (V_x)
- Cruise checklist
A.s. +10/-0 KIAS, Alt. +-100’, bank +-10°, heading +-10°

Power-off stall
A
- Perform two 90° clearing turns
- Approx. 1500 RPM (maintain alt.)
- Landing configuration flow
- Stabilized descent at 66 KIAS
- Throttle idle (slowly)
- Wings level or up to 20° bank as assigned
- Pitch to maintain alt. (slowly), and ack. cues of the impending stall
- At stall/first indication of impending stall (as req.) recover- simultaneously reduce AOA, max power, and level wings
- Slowly retract flaps to 10°
- Accelerate to 64 KIAS (V_x), positive rate
- Retract flaps to 0°
- Cruise checklist
Bank +-10°(not to exceed 20°), heading +-10°

Power-on stall
A
- Perform two 90° clearing turns
- Approx. 1500 RPM (maintain alt.)
- Clean configuration
- At 70 KIAS, simultaneously increase pitch (slowly) and apply full power
- Slowly increase pitch to induce stall, and acknowledge cues of the impending stall
- At stall/first indication of impending stall (as req.) recover- simultaneously reduce AOA, max power, and level wings
- Accelerate to 64 KIAS (V_x), positive rate
- Cruise checklist
Bank +-10° (not to exceed 20°), heading +-10°

Emergency descent
A
- Perform two 90° clearing turns
- Clean configuration flow
- Reduce throttle to idle
- Initiate turning descent, while clearing for traffic
- Maintain (training) 120 KIAS
- Notify ATC/Traffic as appropriate
