What is session state?
A
Ends when a user ends the session or logs out of the app. It is a way to track what the user is doing on the site across multiple pages.

What is view state?
A
View state is information specific to a particular Web Page and it is stored in a hidden field, so it is not visible to the user. It is used to maintain the user’s illusion that the page remembers what he did on it the last time and doesn’t give him a clean page every time.
