    • Great flexibility
    • Since titrated doses separately is more accurate to requirements
  • Problems
    • Polypharmacy – chance of drug reactions/allergies
    • Muscle relaxation – problems controlling airway
    • Separation of relaxation and hypnosis – “awareness”, possibility of patient being awake yet paralysed and unable to communicate
