ATNR
Turn head to one side, face side extremities extend, scalp side extremities flex, spine convexity towards face side
Integration: Birth to 6 months
STNR
When head flexes, UE flex, legs extend, when head extends, UE extend, legs flex
Integration: 6-8 months
Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex (TLR)
In supine, body and extremities in extension, in prone, body and extremities held in flexion
Integration: Birth to 6 months
Galant Reflex
Touch skin along spine from shoulder to hip causes ipsilateral lateral flexion
Integration: 30 weeks to 2 months
Palmar Grasp Reflex
Pressure in palm on ulnar side of hand causes flexion of fingers and strong grip
Integration: Birth to 4 months
Plantar Grasp Reflex
Pressure to base of toes causes toe flexion
Integration: 28 weeks of gestation to 9 months
Rooting Reflex
Touch on cheek causes turning of head to same side with mouth open
Integration: 28 weeks of gestation to 3 months
Moro Reflex
Head dropping rapidly into extension causes arm abduction with fingers open, then cross into adduction and crying
Integration: 28 weeks to 5 months
Startle Reflex
Loud, sudden noise causes UE abduction with elbows flexed and fingers closed, adduction
Integration: 28 weeks to 5 months
Positive Support Reflex
Weight placed on balls of feet when upright causes stiffening of legs and trunk into extension
Integration: 35 week of gestation to 2 months
Walking (Stepping) Reflex
Supported upright position with soles of feet on firm surface causes reciprocal flexion/extension of legs
Integration: 38 weeks of gestation to 2 months
