Q

Strengths of primary data

A
  • Autentic data
  • Collected with a soul purpose of being a specific investigation
  • Designed to target the information that is required
  • High levels of controles
  • Less time waisted on irrelevant data

Q

Weakness of primary data

A
  • Time and effort
  • Expensive
  • Therefore, in comparison to primary data, secondary data which already exists can save time, effort and resources.

Q

Strength of secondary data

A
  • Less time consuming and less expensive to collect
  • This means that researchers can find information they desire with very little effort
  • Much easier when compared to primary data

Q

Weakness of secondary data

A
  • Concerns over accuracy
  • vulnerability in the quality of the data: might seem okay at first but then turn out to be incomplete /outdated or just not useful.
  • Meaning that much of the data might be of n0 value or irrelevant.
