What do you perform in a respiratory assessment
Check the respiratory rate, is it fast, slow, normal
Check the rhythm, is it regular or irregular
Check the effort, is it increased, decreased
Check the skin, is it perfumed, cyanoses, blue, sweaty
Check the sounds, crackling, snoring, wheezing
Check patients speech, full sentences, phrases, singular words
What do you perform in a cardiovascular assessment
Check for pulse, is it fast, slow, normal
Check blood pressure, is it hypotensive or hypertensive

Blood sugar level, high, low or normal
Spo2, high or low or normal

What is the terminology for blood pressure, what do they mean
Systolic pressure is less than 120
Diastolic pressure is less than 80
