What is an outsider group?

A

This type of group usually uses protests, marches, rallies and demonstrations to force the government to listen.
They do not have a good relationship with the government.

Why is the use of celebrities good for campaigning with an outsider group?

A

Brings a lot of publicity to the group.

Naomi Campbell in 2011 helped the White Ribbon Alliance and this changed the GOVt mind and increased the money by 0.7GBD

A
Glasgow Girls (2005), they marched against the deportation of people in their school. They didn't break the law and they changed it.

A

A group who tried to stop the trams coming back to Edinburgh. However, they were too small and are no longer a pressure group as the trams are now in Edinburgh.
