What is pressure?
Pressure is how much force is put into a particular area.
what happens if the surface area of an object gets smaller but the force on the object stays the same?
The pressure exerted will increase because there is less surface area for the force to be spread out, the smaller the surface area the force is exerted over the greater the pressure.
What happens if the force decreases and the surface area stays the same?
The pressure will decrease.
What two units can be used to measure pressure?

Yes, a lighter object has less weight force than a heavier object but if the lighter object’s force is spread out over a smaller area it can exert more pressure than the heavier object.
